Sortir du lot
Parallel, rusted metal sheets, angled towards the ground, seem to be sinking slowly into the earth, as if to disappear.
Only one, painted yellow, breaks the rule: it rises up, captures the light, and asserts its presence.
This installation, titled SORTIR DU LOT (Stand Out/Break the Mold), questions our society’s search for conformity, where differences fade in favor of increasing standardization.
Yet, at the heart of this uniformity, a paradox emerges: the deep desire of every individual to distinguish themselves, to resist being erased, and to rise up by simply being themselves.
