Déchirure
DÉCHIRURE (Tear/Rupture) gives form to the pain of a broken bond.
The material appears to have been pulled, stretched to the extreme, right up to that sudden break that leaves a gaping opening.
Through this sculpture, I express the fragility of attachments, the tension in relationships, and the emptiness left by what is no more.
It’s a raw and poignant piece that highlights the silent beauty of fractures.
